Hello all ,

I am using SigmaDSP 3.4 version and working with ADAU1442 Evaluation board for our project.

Need guidence on below points:

1. Data from the different sources comes at different attenuation giving different level of output for the same gain , How can I dynamically attenuate them at the same level of output for a specific dB of gain?.

2. Provide me with some sample project/doc for implementing following algorithms :

a)10 band Equalizer

b)bass controll

Regards

Sorry for my late reply. I was in China last week and I had very limited time to work on support issues.

1. I'm not sure what you mean here. If you want to try to always make the output level of each channel match that of the others, then I would suggest the Automatic Volume Control, which I believe is included in the latest version of SigmaStudio. There is some information about the algorithm here: https://ez.analog.com/message/12899#12899

2. The QuickStart guide included with your evaluation kit should have an example of a 5-band EQ and volume control. You can increase the number of bands in the EQ by right-clicking it and choosing the "Grow Algorithm" option. To make a bass control, you can simply change one of the bands to a "Low Shelf" type filter and set the cutoff frequency somewhere in the bass range.

The QuickStart is included in this post for your reference.

I'm not sure what you mean in your original question. Is it that you have different sources and you want them all to have relatively the same level?

If so, using dynamics processors for each source will do what you are suggesting.

Please comment.
