Does the Sigmastudio can do a general 2nd order iir filter using gain block, feedback block, delay block? anyone can offer a example? I found the  feedback block does not work in feedback path.

There are different between iir filter path and the using feedback path. I simulate them using the simulation stimuli and probe ,they have different frequency response and phase response. why?

Have you actually tested the audio output of both types of filters? If you listen to the outputs, you can hear that they are identical. Also, the project includes a subtraction element to measure the error signal (difference) between the two outputs. It measures close to zero at all times.

I'm having trouble getting the probe to work for some reason, but simple audio measurements are confirming that the two filters in this project are identical.

Hi Spark

The Stimuly and Probe are a PC simulation reference for evaluating built in filters and volume controls. They do not work on complex algorithms like the one you are attempting to build. Please refer to a proper measurement for comparing the output of the block filter and the built in filter library. As suggested by Brett, you can also use the substraction element along with a Read Back Block to make sure that outputs are identical.

Please let me know your results.

Best regards

Miguel
