How to design a program like sigmastudio?
Hi.
Simgastudio could open source ? i want design a program like sigmastuio, because i think sigmastudio is power at
it can dynamic design and compile , very flexible!
I don't know how to convert parmeter to coefficiention, but i find like this problem must login this web to ask ADI enginer,
why don't you provide the document of tool ( detailed) ,?
If refer to copyright , ADI can provide dll file.
( my english is so bad, so if have Language attack , please pardon me ! )
I need help, somebody can help me ?
From what I understand of ADI, I don't think SigmaStudio will ever go open source. This is because the assembly code instruction set is "hidden" so that it can be used as a layer of protection to make it impossible (or at least super hard?) to reverse engineer a binary set to an algorithm. None of their other IDEs are open so I wouldn't hold your breath.
I don't think so !
ADI can provide Dynamic Link Library , so the user can use it easily!
I can't design a project and provide sigmastudio exe to customer, so i want design a program like sigmastudio , let change project Anytime, Anywhere,
the best way to adjust coefficent by software, but this software need to programed by myself, so i need to know the coefficent of every tool how to be
calculationed ! I just need a cookbook for it !
Hi Walker,
SigmaStudio contains a large amount of proprietary IP that was researched and developed here at Analog Devices. As I'm sure you're aware, there are several competing products from other companies that are similar to SigmaStudio. What gives each of these products a competitive edge over each other are the proprietary algorithms included with them. Releasing SigmaStudio as open source would essentially put all of that IP out in the open, so that it could very easily be reverse-engineered and copied by competitors, thus eliminating SigmaStudio's edge over the competition. So, there are no plans to make it open source.
You can, of course, create your own GUI to control SigmaDSP hardware. Some of our customers have done this so that their end users can have software control over hardware that contains a SigmaDSP processor.
welcome back Brettg.
Thank you very much~!
