i known db convert formula :
20log10 (x/1) = -40dB x = 0.01
0.01 * 223 = 83886.08.
but this formula only use convert single volume control.

my desgin project have many toolbox , i don't know how to get coefficent value.
( have any cookbook for it ? )
for example:
1.superbass xover freq, have 36 byte coefficent.( i known value of intenstv and bass gain is direct value ).
2.dynamic bass boost, high threshold(db) and Time constant
( but this db convert is different from singe volume control ?)
3.dynamic bass boost ratio.
4.Surround Sound Volume Control, i don't know how to convert it to coefficent.

Many of these parameters do not have calculations in the help file because it was assumed that they would be tuned during manufacturing and not changed by the user at runtime. I guess this illustrates that the assumption was incorrect. Currently, I don't have the calculations for these parameters. Which ones do you need to be user-controllable in your system?

1. Dynamic Bass Boost(DBB): all coefficent, Lowpass Freq,High Threshold(db), Time constant, Low threshold(db) ,Compression Ratio, Boost and Bass Freq.

2. Phat-Stereo: Cut Freq, Level

3. SuperPhat Spatializer : Spread Freq, Effect Gain

4.SuperBass: Xover Freq

5: Surround Sound Volume Control: all coefficent

finally, i find 1st order filter , high pass coeff calculation is different from help file,

my calculation is : ( pi = 3.1415926 , my pi is correct?)

double gainLinear = pow(10, G/20);
double omegac= 2.0 * pi * F/G_FS;

double a1 = pow(2.7, -omegac );
double b0 = gainLinear * a1;
double b1 = -a1 * gainLinear;

A1 = a1;
B0 = b0;
B1 = b1;

Highpass

Transfer Function

no picture.

Coefficients

a1 = 2.7^-ω0
b0 = gainLinear * a1
b1 = -a1 * gainLinear

Hi, Brettg!

Can you help me solve this problem ?

The 1st order HPF calculations are documented wrong. Here's the corrected version:
