SigmaStudio Stimulus/Probe Output
I am running SigmaStudio 3.1 with a couple of different ADAU1701 eval boards. I can see the transfer function of my DSP settings using the Simulation Probe and Simulation Stimulus. I cannot see a way to export that data. Is there a way to export the data shown in the Simulation Probe window to an ASCII file?

Hi,
I have moved this discussion to the SigmaDSP Category. Please continue the discussion here.

Craig.
Currently there is no way to export that data directly. The stimulus/probe windows are used primarily for visualizing the frequency response of several filters in series. The curve is drawn using some pre-made graphics functions from the .NET library. I'm not sure if the data is in a form that would be easily exportable. I will check about making that possible in a future SigmaStudio release.
Is there any reason why you need to export that data?
Brett,
Thanks for the response. I recieve a custom amplifier design as a black box along with a SigmaStudio file to document what is programmed into the ADAU1701 DSP. I want to be able to separate the frequency response of the DSP and the frequency response of the amp in this black box. It seemed logical to me to use the measured frequency response of the black box and apply the frequency response already calculated by Sigma Studio to get the response of the amp. If I could get these response curves I could use them together with what I know to happen down stream of all this and do a little Matlab work to characterize the entire system and make some simulations to optimize my system.
I don't have much in the way of test equipment so I'm trying to use the math... The other alternative I see is to program all of the individual Text-In filters coefficients into another piece of software. I can do that, but SigmaStudio has already done that so it seems like I am duplicating effort and it is more onerous than just collecting the response that has already been calculated by the Stimulus/Probe.
I apologize if I am missing something obvious, I am new to this.
You can take a screenshot of the curve and then run it through http://arohatgi.info/WebPlotDigitizer/
