Sigma 3.3 Promise... broken?

I could have sworn someone promised that in Sigma 3.3 the on-screen connection wires would stay put when importing a hirearchy board into a design. When creating a circuit, especially a complex one in which you must use "Insert Point" to keep routes clear and disentagled, connections stay put when the design is closed and reopened, but importing that circuit into a new design almost always means that all the wires need to be straightened out again. Not a big deal, they are connected properly, but a true frustration and kind of a waste of time. Isn't it possible to define the connection routing and save it with the design?
