Threshold of limiter adjustment via GPIO?
Hi guys,
I need the possibility to adjust the threshold of a limiter by an external source. Best would be to do this by a potentiometer connected to the ADC of a GPIO. Is there any chance to realize this?

Currently this cell doesn't exist, but you could create your own using the low-level blocks in the library.
Here's one example of how to do it:
First, check the level of the audio signal. You can do this by using an envelope. For more info, check here: https://ez.analog.com/message/7669#7669
Then, use an Auxiliary ADC Input to get the level of your potentiometer input.
You can subtract the two signals to get the difference.
If the difference exceeds a certain threshold, you can raise a flag (using the AB in / CD out Conditional cell).
When that flag is high, you could calculate the gain that needs to be applied and use that as a control signal for a Slew Gain (External Input) cell.
That's just one way of doing it. You could also try an implementation making use of your system microcontroller:
In SigmaStudio, connect the Aux ADC input directly to a DSP Readback cell.
Your microcontroller could manually read this cell and then write to the Limiter cell to change the limiter level based on the ADC level.
There are several other options available. Just look through the library and hopefully you'll get some other ideas!
