Problem installing SigmaStudio on Win7 Ultimate (SP1)?
I have a problem installing SigmaStudio 3.3.0 on Win7 Ultimate (SP1, 32-bit) – fresh installation. Notebook is a Lenovo T61. The recommended MS Win 7 and Lenovo patches to 22 Feb 2011 have been installed.
I’m installing logged in as Administrator. During the SigmaStudio installation I get a message ‘Could not register type library for file C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\SigmaStudio 3.3\Analog.SigmaStudioServer.tlb’.
If I select ‘Continue’ the installation proceeds and indicates successful installation.
If I try to run the installed application I get a popup ‘SigmaStudio Development Environment has stopped working’ This closes after a few minutes and nothing further happens.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Please see the announcement at the top of the main SigmaDSP EngineerZone page. This is a known problem and will be addressed in the next beta release of SigmaStudio.
