Hello Guys,

I need some informations about the ADAU1701.

I want build a own board and will use it with the USBi adapter.

So what Pins of the USBi adapter will be needed? SDA,SCL, any other pin?

I don't use the Reset Pin. Should i connected it to +3V3 with a resistor (against latch up) ?

It is my first design with the ADAU1701. Do you see any errors in my design file?

Hello! I took a look at your schematic and I think everything looks fine, except that you don't need to connect all of those unused MP pins to ground. You can simply leave them floating. I don't know what your input and output levels will be, but I assume that the op-amp on the input side and the voltage divider on the output are simply scaling the levels correctly to match your input and output connections.

To use the USBi with your board, you only need to make connections to SDA, SCL, and GND. The way that you have connected the reset line to the USBi header is fine - this will allow you to manually reset the board from SigmaStudio if you wish.

Remember to select the correct address for your EEPROM when you program it in SigmaStudio. If you select the wrong address, you could corrupt the EEPROM on the USBi (used to self-boot the Cypress USB controller). See this post for more info.
