1701 : FIR-Filter : ROM Address exceeds 1024

An FIR filter on the ADAU1701 will use 1 program instruction/tap, 1 parameter/tap, and 1 data memory word/tap. Both the program and parameter RAM sizes on the ADAU1701 are 1024 words, so that's the maximum size FIR filter that you can implement. In your actual implementation, the maximum size will be a bit less than 1024 taps because you'll need to use at least a few of the instructions for reading the inputs and writing to the outputs.
