ADAU144x working at 96KHz
Hello, I'm working with the ADAU1442 and the eval board from Analog Devices.
I have made my aplication and run very well if my fs=48KHz.
I need to work at fs=96KHz for that I have modified and have propagated the fs on the SigmaStudio Schematics sofware and also I have modified the register "Star Pulse select" going to fs dual mode ("internally generated 96KHz").
My questions are:
1.- Am I working at 96KHz?
2.- What happen with the DAC's, what are they fs?
3.- Why my aplication only works if the serial input and output ports are configured as Master, 48KHz clock?
4.- When I messure my frecuency response I can find a little differences bettwen the f. response at 48KHz that the f.reponse at 96KHz, that differences are bigger at high frecuencies, this can be because I'm not working at 96KHz as I supposse or because my DSP is working at 96KHz but not my DAC's?
Thank you for your answer.
Best, Inma.

The AD1938 codecs on the ADAU1442 evaluation board are, by default, configured in hardware mode with fs=48 kHz. There is a jumper on pin COUT that allows each codec to be put into either master or slave mode, but there is not a hardware option to switch the codec into 96 kHz operation. The evaluation board has unpopulated resistors that can be added to connect the codecs to an SPI master for writing to their control registers. You can see this on page 26 of the eval board user guide (pdf link).
After change fs and start pulse to 96 Khz, what happens with LRCLK, SDATA_OUT0 and BCLK? Can i recognize fs,dual externally?
