MagicRuB Question

Is there a module, or combination of modules, which can divide a signal from the frequency generator? My application includes mixing some signals from a sine gen source (or external source) but some of the signals must be in perfect phase so they can not be generated from different frequency gens. For example: I need available a 4 kHz and a 2 kHz sine wave in perfect phase. When summed together it shouldn't get goofy due to phase.

I'm using an ADAV1442 eval board but am not committed to that particular part. How is this phase relationship best done in Sigma Studio?

Hello,

This same question was addressed in another forum post here. Note that this solution will just work for frequencies that are 2x multiples of each other.

I'm glad we were able to easily find the answer for you. I understand that it's not always easy to find exactly what you need by searching the forum, but keep in mind that there is a lot of good design information and tips in these older posts. A basic way to find information of interest for your design would be to follow the keyword links that users set up in each post. If you click on one for the SigmaDSP IC you're using (such as ADAU1761), then you can find a lot of good information that you might not have known you needed!

Not sure how I missed that post, I looked around for a little bit before I posted. That is exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you!
