HI Sigma DSP team,

is there ready made “Quantized LPC and LTP”

(Long-Term Prediction and Linear Predictive Coding)

If the features are already build could you tell me where to find them?

Best Regards,

Ron TippiX

Hi Ron,

No, SigmaDSP does not support encoding/decoding algorithms like these that typically require block-based processing. SigmaDSP is intended to be used as a stream-oriented processor to perform audio post-processing. All of the algorithms available for SigmaDSP are included in the library with SigmaStudio.

thanks Jerad,

then is there a chipset that ADI can recommend that will serve my purpose?

Ron,

It sounds like this is the sort of signal processing that would be better-suited for one of our general purpose DSPs, such as the Blackfin. http://www.analog.com/en/embedded-processing-dsp/blackfin/processors/index.html
