The user inquired about the availability of a full list of SigmaDSP blocks in SigmaStudio to confirm support for a specific application. The final answer indicated that the SigmaStudio libraries display all available algorithms for each processor, and the user can request a download key by emailing the support team. A new page on the Analog Devices website lists all algorithms available in SigmaStudio, including standard and advanced plug-ins.

Hello,

I am very interested in the SigmaDSP for a specific application (for which it seems a great fit) - however before buying a development kit wanted to check whether there is a full list of SigmaStudio blocks available so that I can confirm that this will support the application - is this available somewhere ?

SigmaStudio's libraries always show exactly which algorithms are aviailable for each processor. You can open SigmaStudio and use the software without an evaluation board or other software attached. So, to see which blocks are available, you can just open SigmaStudio and browse the algorithm libraries.

If you do not have a copy of SigmaStudio, you can request a download key by emailing sigmadsp@analog.com and describing your target application.

We are working on developing a page for our website that more thoroughly details the available algorithms in SigmaStudio. We hope to have this on the website in the coming months.

Thanks very much for the prompt reply - I will request an evaluation license for SigmaStudio.

There is a new page on analog.com that lists all algorithms that are available in SigmaStudio. There are two headings on this page - one to list the standard algorithms that are included with the SigmaStudio download, and a second list to show the advanced algorithms that are available as plug-ins with the appropriate license. You can view this new page here.

Hi,

Is the Auto Eq plug in available now for evaluation? I don't see it listed, but read a press release for it in April 2011 Voice Coil Magazine.

Hi Lgn,

I'm sorry for the very long response time. I lost sight of your post.

We are currently providing Auto EQ to customers at a fee. I will contact you privately and put you in touch with our software manager.

I am very interested in Auto eq and i would like to use in my evaluation project. Is this plug inn still free? How can i get them? Thanks a lot.

Hi Paul,

The list of algorithms available for each processor is changing with each build (as we port some algorithms to new cores, or develop completely new algorithms), so it would be difficult to keep an up-to-date list. However, if you check the SigmaStudio library, you can see all of the algorithms available for each processor. I would suggest sending an email to sigmadsp@analog.com to get a SigmaStudio download key.
