Hi, I'm using ADAU1777 trying to cancel noise, for some reason, I'm have some "ticking noise", i'm not sure if somthing might not be set right. anyone ever incounter anything like that?

I'm attaching a wav file recording the noise, to hear it you need to use headphones at high volume.

Thank you.

Hello orenkniaz and AnaCow,

I will try to listen to this on another system. On my PC with headphones at full volume I do not hear anything. So this tells me it is quite low in level. I believe you that it is there but my first attempt to hear it was not successful. By the way, thanks for attaching the sound file! Hearing problems is so much better than reading someone's words trying to describe it!

Meanwhile, can you share some more details about your system? Clocking will be very important to understand what is going on in your system. Also, are you using the serial ports to exchange audio between devices? What are the sampling rates? Who is the clock master and slave? Often clicks and pops are bit errors which are caused by clocking jitter, or noise in the system which means power and ground issues, then there is PCB layout issues that can cause all of the above. There are some adjustments that can be done like drive strength settings however if there are issues with the PCB layout it can make things worse.

Give us a little more info but we may need a lot more info to make an educated guess.
