ADAU1761 - reading interface registers

Hi all,

I am using the ADAU1761 to calculate 6 different values, these values have to be read by a microcontroller to be processed further.

With the ADAU1701 I could use the interface registers to write the data to, which was then read by the microcontroller. This worked fine. I am aware there are no real interface registers as with the ADAU1701, but what would be the next best way to achieve this? At the moment I can extract the values from the DSP readback blocks which are in front of the 6 interface write blocks, but to me this doesn't seem like it is ''the'' way.

The person in this post asked a similar question, but the post is quite old and my question is more aimed at being able to obtain the data.The data doesn't have to be able to survive a power cycle.
