Can't get a 2-channel (stereo) 2nd order filter in SigmaStudio 3.14.
I wonder if I'm violating some SigmaStudio law here. This is my problem du jour.
I had an ADAU1451 design that was created under SigmaStudio version 3.13. I wanted to re-do parts of it, and I'd changed over to 3.14 in the meantime. When I opened the project (under 3.14) I got some warnings about hardware incompatibilities and setting parameters or some-such. I deleted all the hierarchy boards from the old design, which made the warning go away, and started creating new hierarchy boards on the old Main schematic. My first question, obviously: is this legal?
What popped up is that I cannot make a 2-channel, second-order filter. Neither is there a 1- , 2-, or more-channel filter under the General 2nd Order heading in the tool tree, nor is there an Add Algorithm option for the default, single-channel filter. I can copy-and-paste a 2-channel filter from an old design made under 3.13 into the 3.14 schematic, and it seems to work fine, at least with the development board under PC control, but am I asking for trouble, looking ahead to when it's compiled to code? There must be some way to do multichannel filters.

AW, SHUCKS UPDATE: I downloaded the newest, 4.2 version of SigmaStudio, hoping that my assumed 'oversight' had been caught, but still no multichannel filters unless you opt for the shiny, expensive "slew" type that command more than twice the resources. My requirement is for a stereo Parametric EQ, and I have always opted to tolerate the usually-inaudible 'zip' as the slider is moved up and down, in deference to reining-in project overhead. I do see that the "slew" filters have the Add Algorithm option, but is that now the only way to get a stereo Parametric? I assume that using separate Left and Right blocks still works, but that involves a bit more effort in making a common GUI control both channels. What are the implications of going back to a previous version of SigmaStudio, where Add Algorithm is offered for the pathetic, "runt-of-the-litter" Parametrics for us minimalists?
DOHHH, NEVER MIND UPDATE: Now I get it. No more Add Algorithm, it's now Grow Algorithm / Grow Channels. Why doesn't somebody tell me these things?
