Hi,

As in the attached project, we placed two different types of filters.

One has no slew, the other has slew.

There is a problem in the behavior of the filter with slew.

Setting this slew value to greater than 0, unexpectedly affects the output gain.

I think that the slew value doesn't affect the output gain.

When compared with the filter without slew, the output changes slightly.

Does this phenomenon include any problems?

Or is it a specification?

Design6_Q42.zip

The outline of the design is as follows.

The phase and amplitude of the output of each channel differs from the expected value.

Comparing the two waveforms is as follows.

I expect that the same amplitude and phase will be output.

But amplitude and phase are different from expected values.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi,

We are able to observe the same behavior. It is because the coefficients are not reaching the target coefficients exactly during the RC software slew. We will look at the option of HW Linear slew to see whether it improves the performance and update the progress here.

Thanks,
