Hi,

There is a specification page of "Crossover Filter".

https://wiki.analog.com/resources/tools-software/sigmastudio/toolbox/filters/crossover

I'd like to know the specification about "Crossover Type"

Please let me know, especially the difference between each Linkwitz-Riley 12/24/36/48 in detailed.

Thanks and Regards,

sigmastudio

Linkwitz-Riley crossover alignment is commonly used in the loudspeaker industry in both active and passive implementations. You can find detailed information on these filters here and here. The SigmaDSP implementation is standard IIR filter with that alignment.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for your reply.

Please let me know if you know.

The following GUI shows the characteristics of the summed gain.

What does this mean is simply adding the gain characteristics of the three filters?

Thanks and Regards,

Yes. The black line is just the (complex) sum of the three filters, taking the phase into account.
