Are you developing a SigmaStudio for iPad?
I heard through the grapevine you may be developing a SigmaStudio app for iPad Pro? Can you confirm or deny this? This would be pretty awesome and really powerful if true.

I had thought that such an app would be impossible since SigmaStudio depends heavily upon a Microsoft development platform known as .Net. But then something called Xamarin came along:

So it appears quite possible, though we'll have to wait and see if ADI is interested in such a development. Likely it's not plug-and-play, thus would take quite an effort as well as the need to support two platforms (really three, with Android). Also, only iPad Pro and Android-compatible Chromebooks include the host USB port needed for attaching hardware -- perhaps a "Bluetooth USBi" could address this. Yet there's some advantages, such as more screen real estate than most laptops, extreme portability, and relatively low-cost pen options (like Apple Pencil) to bring out everyone's inner artist! So it would surely be fun to work with!
Best regards,

Hello Wawlee,
I can supply about as non-committal an answer as I can.
I have not heard about any such development but then I am not in the loop for some of the development work and I am usually one of the last to know about updates to SigmaStudio. So I guess I really cannot confirm or deny.

As one would expect, the software team is always doing exploratory work, including on various platforms. Nothing has been announced, and nothing like this will be available in the near (or not so near) future.
