Questions about Programming methods to be used with ADAU1467
I have to select the best components for my new Project that is an audio management system for cabin.
It is interesting the ADAU1467.
I have seen that it is programmable by means of the use of SigmaStudio SW that generate the information that can be dowloaded by an additional microcontroller.
I am interesting to know in this scenario, if the external microcontroller can periodically read the configuration of the DSP in order to perform a continuosly survellance of the configuration.
I am also interested to know if this kind of device can be programmed by means of the use of CrossCore® Embedded Studio or by means of VisualDSP++.
As alternative, I am interested to know if it ispossible to configure/program the ADAU1467 by means of the use of Simulink.

Yes, there are ways to check on the status of the program running and the DSP instructions. There are many different ways to do this from simple to complicated depending on your needs.

No, you must use SigmaStudio to compile the code. There are no other ways to do this. If custom code is needed then there are third party developers who can help with that or it is possible that we can develop a new cell depending on the details of the required code. There is a lot that can be done with SigmaStudio so it is not often that custom code is required.
There are ways to link over to MatLab but I do not know if it is possible when running Simulink
