Yusuke Question

Hello.

I want to try to use Beam Forming Designer with EVAL-ADAU1467Z.

I looked for the information about the block, and there were several wiki pages about beam forming like this:

https://ez.analog.com/dsp/sigmadsp/f/q-a/119308/adau1761-sigmastudio-4-1-detail-information-about-fixed-beam-forming-designer

but I want to know the details.

Could you help my understanding? I have two questions.

Q1: What should the two inputs and one output be? Two microphones would be connected to the two input pins?

Q2: What does "Delay (samples)" in the bottom of the window mean? Why do the polar response and the frequency response change depending on the Delay value?

Hello,

I resume the question posted by Yusuke as I was unable to find the documentation relating to the Beam Forming Designer.
In addition to what is expressly requested in the previous post, I would need to understand how to intervene on the available parameters to obtain a cardioid-shaped polar diagram
as in the following image:

Thanks for the support
