noise reduction algorithm implementation
For our new design I need to test the noise reduction algorithm.
Application: beam configurable microphone.
DSP ADAU1466.
Tool: SignaStudio 4.6.
I downloaded Noise reduction for evaluation and can see it in Tools --> Manage Downloadable Add-Ins--> Installed.
Am I supposed to see this application under ADI Algorithms --> Noise reduction?
Unfortunately, I can’t see this option in my Sigma Studio.
Also, If I trying to use Help from this software – I don’t see any response. No HELP pop-up windows.
Am I missing something?
Thank You.

The help page and instructions for using the noise reduction block may be found here. Note that this function is implemented entirely within the block/frequency domain, which is why you don't see it in the main tree.

Thank you.

Trying to test the noise reduction module and , unfortunately, can't get audio output. What else is missing here?
Thank you.
Hi Ken,
there is an example project mentioned in the documentation (last page).
Where can I find this project "Sigma300_NR_Wideband_GUI.dspproj"?

Christian
Same problem happening with me, Have you got any solution?
Hello All,
In the Tutorials section of the Wiki help files you will find some example files.

This might be helpful.

As mentioned below, there are example files on the wiki. If you are not getting output, please post your project so we can take a look.

Ken.M Still waiting for your response
I downloaded your project and I am having the same problem.
I have not found the reason why yet. So one of us will get back to you when we find out more info.
I know you posted this same question elsewhere on the forum.

Alright,Thank you for your response. Will be waiting for solution for this problem
Hi Rajbir,
Your project works fine for me and I'm getting an audio output. Your MCLK was set as 3.07MHZ, Could you please give a try by changing that to 12.288MHZ, For this setting I have got the audio output. And make sure that your mic input works fine. Just check the meters in your project. By that we can confirm whether your input is getting in to the DSP or not.

Harish
Only able to hear HIss sound, Not able to hear proper sound
Hello Rajbir,
Sorry that I missed to put a screenshot to confirm where you have to change the MCLK_OUT. Please refer the attached screenshot. Have you set 12.288MHZ here previously and still not getting anything?
The project that you took from wiki is completely fine and As I mentioned above, take care of your mic inputs once again. And what output you are exactly expecting after all the blocks of algorithm applied?

Harish
