Hi Support,

We are using ADAU1452 and SigmaStudio v4.6.

Which algorithms are needed in order to create a design that can output pulses with count as a parameter? Can the pulse type be defined?

Hello Ping,

We need a little more information.

First, the MP input will be a 0 or a 1. So no way to input a larger number unless you implement a binary number using many MP pins.

There are probably many ways to do this but we just need a little more detail.

How long is this pulse? The DSP can only output based on sample periods. So it can send out a high for one sample period then a low for the next. So it would be a one sample period long pulse that can only be as fast as fs/2.

Do you need a 50/50 duty cycle or does it need to be high for X sample periods then low for X sample periods? Then repeat this for the number if times given in a "count" parameter?

Then it stops until there is some sort of reset? Where is the reset coming from?
