I am using the Sigma Studio COM interface with Python to read and write parameter values. I have two NLMS filters in the schematic.

Both NLMS1 and NLMS2 have the same 'coeff' param name, but at different addresses.

The following command will only find the first 'coeff' named parameter

sigma.PARAMETER_READ_ARRAY_USING_NAME('IC 1', 'coeff', 8, 24, 10)

How can I read the coeffs from NLMS2?

Hello,

You can use GET_OBJECT_PARAM_NAME_AND_ADDRESS() function to get the name of the NLMS coefficients. Then you call PARAMETER_READ_ARRAY_USING_NAME() to read the coefficients. See the attached Matlab example, you can also do it with Python. Using these functions you can get the coefficients for NLMS1 and NLMS2. Note the name for the coefficients is returned in Name(3). Also note the coefficients are stored in reverse order in the DSP memory, so I use flipud() function to un-reverse them.
