I use the filter >filters/coeff calculations/second order/single precision/general (2nd order)< in combination with the module >basic DSP/parameter update<.

I get access to many parameters (variable names) like FREQ_DSP_CALC; GAIN_DSP_CALC; Q_DSP_CALC and many other DSP parameters. Now, when I use a second filter module of the same type in my schematic, I get only access to the 5 coefficients parameters (A1,A2,B0,B1,B2) for the new filter block!?

In the capture output, I checked the parameter outputs by names. I can see for both filters the right compliler names. So it must be the same filter type, but I get not the same access to this parameters in the ParamUpdate module. I control the Q, Gain, and Frequency parameters of this module with this methode. It looks like a bug in Sigma Studio? Thanks for help!

Filter parameter access ok:

Filter parameter access not ok:

Best regards
Uwe

Hello Uwe,

Yes, It's a bug and it has been noted. The thing is, it's actually growing rather than adding it. In the attached picture above, you can see the index that is variable name0_ and variable name1_. The second one is for the second filter.

Regards,

Harish

Hello Harish!

Thank you for your answer! I hope the bug is be fixed in the near time! It is an important module for my project.

Thank you for the additional information about the ParameterUpdate module!

Unfortunately the bug is still exist. I was hoping that would fix the problem.

So, I have to wait.

There are a workaround to realized a 2nd allpass filter with standard dsp modules as long as it isn't fixed?

Regards,

Uwe
