How to calculate high order shelving coffecients

Hi,

I need a high order shelving filter in my application. The order need to be 8th and the cutoff frequency need to be controled by MCU.

It seems that the 8th shelving is made by cascading four 2th IIR filters. However the four filters are not the same.

I searched the wiki, there's nothing about how to calculate high order shelving.

So how to get the 8th shelving coffecients or how to get four 2th IIR filters so that I can use 2th formula to calculate the coffecients?
