Hi there.

In our design we are using ADAU1761 with BF700 processor.

We need to Increase/decrease ADAU1761 Input amplifiers gain (MX1AUXG[2:0] & LINPG[2:0]) with 1dB step resolution (-15dB > +6 dB).

We know currently is mandatory set to 3dB, we've successfully written to these amplifier registers, just want to know if there is a way to change step either in SigmaStudio or using BF700 processor.

Our goal mainly is to attenuate/amplify LAUX-LINP signals before they are mixed with >=11 steps resolution.

Thanks for your help.

Hello manguztap,

Unfortunately, the design of this input amplifier only has a few gain settings. It is meant to be a rough gain setting with fine settings to be done later in the signal path. This is locked in silicon and is not in software so it cannot be changed.

Understood Dave thanks for sharing this info.

An external digital pot is gonna do the work.

Thanks again.
