EVAL-ADAU144XEBZ problem with Sigma Studio - no audio or clocks with example signal flow
I am trying to get the basic test configuration outlined in the "user guide ADAU1442 eval board UG-032.pdf" working. I follow all the instructions on pages 5-9, culminating in the step below, but I get no clocks at all on any of the clock pins.

the program to the ADAU144x IC.

The device should now process audio in real time.

It appears the compile download step is working, and sending the configuration to the chip. I can read registers that it has written and get the correct values back.
So I'm stumped as to why nothing is happening. Is there some step I'm missing?

Hello James,
There are several jumpers and settings that can certainly cause issues. I think some good pictures of your eval board so I could see jumper settings and dip switches would help. I am sure it is something simple...
I attached a project that works with this eval board.
It is meant as a quick starting point with meters to see if you are getting audio in and an oscillator to provide a known good output. Then I also have the DC cell tied to a Readback to test communications between the DSP and SigmaStudio.
I will contact you off-line for other issues you mentioned in an email with our FAE.

Thanks Dave. The example project is exactly what I needed. It's working now. Board jumpers were correct.
