Hello i'm new in the world of the audio DSPs, i want to create an audio effect system that will be manipulated by 4 potentiometers and 3 buttons, they should control the amount of effect such as : pitch frequency, delay time ecc... programmed in sigma studio.

i will insert the audio coming from my pc into the stereo input (ADC0, ADC1) and then let it go into the audio dsp to be effected and record that from the stereo output of the board.

Currently i'm working on ADAU1701 and i have seen that the board has 4 potentiometer included that i can replace but i don't understand where i should insert, on the GPIO, the digital input (0/1 -> 0/5v) rapresented by the buttons and how many of that the board can handle.

I want to control the sound effects ONLY by fisical buttons and potentiometers.

if the board can't handle 4 potentiometers and 3 buttons how can i expand the Inputs of the board ?

Thanks for every help.
