Thread Summary

The user inquired about implementing adaptive beamforming, such as MVDR or super-directive, using the ADAU1467Z eval board and MIC-CANVAZ daughter board in Sigma Studio. The final answer confirmed that no adaptive beamforming algorithm is currently available for the SigmaDSP family. The user's current setup involves a manual delay and sum beamformer, which is not performing well.

I was wondering if it would be possible to create a sigma studios project that is capable of adaptive beamforming using the ADAU1467Z eval board along with its MIC-CANVAZ daughter board using sigma studios blocks. I was thinking of using the adaptive LMS filters but I was hoping there would be a more elegant solution. At the moment I have a normal delay and sum beamformer that I have to manually input delays to the module and it does not work so well. I was hoping to implement something like a MVDR or super-directive beamformer that I would be able to either manually or automatically change the direction the beam is facing. Any help would be appreciated!

Unfortunately, we do not have a readily available adaptive beamforming algorithm for the SigmaDSP family.
