Hey togehter,

we are using an ADAU1467 in one of our projects. The Instructions are squezed up to the limit until 98%. We are using the IPAT to read in a burst certain levelmeters from the DSP. This works perfect up to a count of 30 entries of the IPAT. But when we increase the elements up to 32 the DSP does not output signal anymore. So i guess we run out of cycles but the instruction count is not shown in the compiler output window.

- Could this be the case?

- Is there any way to calculate the worst case amount of cycles used by the IPAT?

Best regards

Hello Eric,

Please look and try this way that the customer had done it in this post.

post: ADAU1452 Directly Read Held Value in Value Hold Block - Q&A - SigmaDSP Processors & SigmaStudio Dev. Tool - EngineerZone (analog.com)

To know more about overrun monitoring feature,

Please refer these posts: 1) ADAU 1452 Multirate instruction cycles and program overrun - Q&A - SigmaDSP Processors & SigmaStudio Dev. Tool - EngineerZone (analog.com)

2) ADAU1462-150, Downsampling and Compiler Report - Q&A - SigmaDSP Processors & SigmaStudio Dev. Tool - EngineerZone (analog.com)

please try this way and see whether it helps.

Also please consider the below note given in the wiki page.
