How to write algorithms for ADAU1452 in SigmaStudio environment
Hi SigmaDSP Support Team,
Please advise of how to write algorithms for ADAU1452 in the SigmaStudio environment.
Please also advise of what development tools are needed for this purpose if possible.

Hello ping95014, All assigned engineers are out of office currently. DaveThib will be back in the week of 1/5/2026 to answer your question!
ADI North America will be on winter shutdown starting December 24, 2024; perhaps another community member can assist you until our return on January 2, 2025.
Hello Ping,
I believe you are meaning to ask how to write custom algorithms in SigmaDSP without using the existing modules in the tool tree?
Regards,
Harish
Hi Harish,
Happy New Year!
Yes, I am asking how to write custom algorithms in SigmaDSP or SigmaDSP+ without using the existing modules in the tool tree.
Our company has produced a PCB board that has ADAU1452 on board. Please refer to the attached photo. We have plane to write custom algorithms per our customer request.
Please also advise of development tools that are needed for this purpose.
Regards,
Ping
Hello Ping,
Yes, we have special tools to allow custom programs to be written in assembly language. It is our own assembly language so it requires training. It also requires deep knowledge of the DSP core architecture and so we protect this information and therefore do not supply these tools to just anyone. There are agreements to be signed etc. Send me a private message and also a friend request so I can reply.
That all said, there is not much that cannot be done using the standard blocks. Not knowing what you need to have the DSP do I am guessing that it can be done with the standard blocks.
I have also looked into your company and have had trouble finding information.
Changing the subject...
Thanks for posting a picture of your PCB. I quickly saw that the way you attach to DGND is not the best way. The way you connected the bypass caps are not the best way. Same with the regulator and the loop filter etc.
I wrote a lot of information about this in the datasheet. Please have your PCB layout person study what I wrote in the datasheet. This is a screenshot of the suggested layout. By the way, use the Rev D datasheet.
I also wrote this layout guide for the codecs and all this also applies to all parts, not just ours. It is important to keeping the power planes quiet.
