Thread Summary

The user inquired about the state of internal pull-up/pull-down resistors during and after reset for the ADAU1452. The support engineer provided a spreadsheet detailing the default pin states in and out of reset for the ADAU145X family. For the ADAU1463, the reset value of the Multipurpose Pin Mode Registers, which set the pull resistors, is 0x0000.

HTCV3 Question
Jun 29, 2026 00:00

Hi,

We have a question regarding the status of the internal pull-up/pull-down (PU/PD) resistors during and after reset for the ADAU1452.

Upon checking the ADAU1452 datasheet, we found a reference to internal pull resistors.
Please refer to "Table 26. Pin Function Descriptions" (Page 23).
Is the state of the internal pull-up/pull-down resistors the same during and after the reset?
If the state differs, please provide details.

Best regards.

Hello HTCV3,

Please find the attached document containing the pull-up/pull-down (PU/PD) details for the ADAU145X pins.

Please let us know if you need any additional information or clarification.

Thank you for your spreadsheet, Harish. Do you have similar information for the ADAU146x family of processors? I have recently assembled a new design based on the ADAU1463, and it would be helpful to have the expanded PU/PD pin states.

Hello SoundConsulting,

If you look at the register detail pages in the datasheet you will see the value of the register when the part is reset.

In the ADAU1467 there are the Multipurpose Pin Mode Registers that set the pull up or down resistors and the reset value is 0x0000 for those registers.
