Hello everyone.

I'm completely new to SigmaStudio. I need to simulate the input/output of the DSP with the built-in simulation, since I don't have the hardware (yet). I'd like to have an input, i.e. a white noise, and mesure the output after going through the algorithm. My goal is to test my algorithm and see if it works as expected, as well as test the accuracy of the built-in boxes.

So my question is: is it possible to capture a signal output out of a simulation, without hardware?

All help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

That certainly is possible! Take a look at the documentation for the Simulation Probe & Stimuli: Probe and Stimulus Blocks [Analog Devices Wiki]

Thank you for your answer. However, I've been there already. The Probe & Stimulus blocks can't output an audio signal, only magnitude/phase spectrums. Or am I missing something? Even though, is it possible to export the simulated response?

Just curious, why can't this be discussed publicly? I'd like to learn more about this too.
