I use ADAU1761 as Microphone pre-amlifier and signal processing for a megaphone project. System total gain is about

36dB. it get horrible self-oscillation when speaker sound feed back to MIC, How can i kill the self-oscillation? Does ADAU1761 has frequency sift tool?analog-admin

Hello,

Yes, you can try the Pitch Modification algorithm shown below to see if it can reduce your self-oscillation ("feedback"). This frequency-shift algorithm doesn't work well enough to serve as a key changer for music, but may prove adequate for voice when used in a megaphone. The larger the reserved delay, the better it sounds.

Best regards,

Bob
