Hi all,

I am integrating ADAU1761 to BeagleBone Black. The audio input to adau1761 is from the serial port input (DAC_SDATA).

My questions are:

1. Should I design a system in SigmaDSP tool ? and create a binary file as described in : SigmaDSP Firmware Utility for Linux [Analog Devices Wiki]

2. If I had to, then what is the design in the tool for the input of audio signals from serial port (I2S) and output to any of the analog audio port. Please help.

Thanks in advance.

I designed a simple system in the tool as attached below.

Still I am not successful in getting the audio signal from the output. The DAC signal, LRCLK and BCLK from the beaglebone Black pins are perfectly fine. But adau1761 is not playing it on its output.

If anyone can take a look at this design and let me know where I have gone wrong would be really helpful.

Or is this design not required to play audio from the serial input?

I have also attached the input and output connection in adau1761 eval board. Please guide me if I need to change any jumper settings.

I somehow managed to get my audio signal from the output. But it has a lot of noise in it from the serial input.

What would be the reaons?
