Hello marcelb,

I think I am looking at the correct schematic. The ADSP-BF707 EZ-KIT-MINI. Is this correct?

On this board the I2C lines for the ADAu1761 come up on connector P9 which is not populated. Pins 1 and 2 are labeled TWIO_SCL and TWIO_SDA. The problem is that they also show up on the Blackfin on pins 18 and 19. There is R6 that will isolate out the clock line but nothing for the data line. Then the pull-ups are on the Blackfin side of R6. So you would have to make sure that the Blackfin serial port is set to be tri-stating or as a slave.

As far as the signals you need from the USBi. You will only need pin 10, GND, Pin 1, SCL and pin 3 SDA.

Thanks,

Dave T

Hi Dave,

thanks for your response. I was able to make the connection work (turns out I had some wires swapped...).

Cheers,
