Up/Down Pushbutton Crossfade Control
Hi,
I am currently using an ADC configured GPIO on an ADAU1446 to control a crossfeed block with a potentiometer. I would like to change this to a two-button up/down control with maybe 10 discrete steps. SigmaStudio has a block for a pushbutton volume control, but not a crossfeed version. I am assuming that I can emulate the ADC using the up/down GPIO control blocks with a look-up table, but I have not had any luck so far. I would appreciate it if any of the SigmaStudio gurus out there could give me a few hints.
Thanks!

Hello ACW,
You sure can emulate the 0 -- 1 output of an aux ADC with a push-button block, but it didn't work for me the first time either. The up/down block shown below needs both the Interface Read and Interface Write GPIOs or else it ignores the button inputs.
Best regards,
Bob
Hi all:
Although the 144x and 145x does not have interface registers (the same way the 1701 does), we created some cells that mimic their behaviour that simply write to coefficient space. Keep in mind that differente from the writeback mechanism on the 1701 where those registers are written back to the EEPROM. In the 144x or 145x case the user (with the uC) in the system will be responsible to storing and loading those parameters to preserve (memorize) the position of those parameters when powering on/off the system.
Please comment.

Thank you so much for the pointers, Bob! Of course I had a missing block in my implementation. Now everything is working correctly!
