Hello,

I'm using ADAU1761, full-scale input voltage is 1Vrms. I'm using

pseudo diffenential input and would like to extend therange to 3V.

Is it proper to use only resistors before ADAU1761's differential input.

I would like to save front-end OPA buffers, If it's possible?

Thanks for your help,

Ted

Hi Ted,

The simplest solution to your question is a voltage divider before the ADC input. I would recommend that you use AC coupling between the divider and the ADC input in order to eliminate any current drain of the CM voltage across the resistor that ties to ground. What is the source of the audio that is driving the ADC? Is it referenced to ground or to a mid-rail voltage of the previous stage?

Regards,

Coleman
