Hello Support Team,

I am useing ADAU1451. However, the setting interface is different between what I uesed EVB-1452 in SigmaStudio.

We thought that is only different Memeory but HW is same.

I would like to set SPDIF RX/TX and ASRC stuff. Should I use ADAU1452 cell?

Thanks

Jason

Hello Support Team

I am useing SS 3.10. However, it seems not finished yet for ADAU1451.

I try ASRC but no any configration table can use when I click ASRC.

It supposed to be as ADAU1452. Isn't it?

Hello Support Team

Thanks. I have solved the problem after upgrade to SS 3.11.

However, how to input from SPDIF in DSP? I can not see any IO from SPDIF input.

Will it all from ASRC?

Hi Jason,

Great to hear your problem is solved by upgrading to v3.11.

You are correct that the SPDIF RX will be connected throught the ASRC. We do not offer a separate SPDIF receiver block like some of the earlier SigmaDSPs.

Attached is an example SPDIF test example which generates a test tone out of the SPDIF TX, through the SPDIF RX & ASRC, to the output I2S serial port.

Hello John,

Thanks your reply.

If SPDIF RX go trhu will impact our design. It suuposed to be from source thru SPDIF into DSP

and few delay. However, it is go thru ASRC then may a lot.

Can you let me know the dealy if SPDIF source is 48k Fs and output 48k Fs delay?

Hello Jason,

Happy New Year. I apologize for the delay in responding due to our 2 week shutdown with the holidays.

I understand your concern on the additional delay using the ASRCs. I did some research into your question and found some info on the ASRC group delay with our implementation.

So for 48 kHz to 48 kHz sample rate conversion the group delay would be 1 msec.

Regards,
