Hi all,

When the following pins are not used, please let me know a setup which you recommend.

1) JACKDET/MICIN
2) DAC_SDATA/GPIO0, ADC_SDATA/GPIO1, BCLK/GPIO2, LRCLK/GPIO3

We are using it with the initial value set up by SigmaDSP.
When not using the function of these pins, should these be changed?
When change is required, please let me know the contents.

Hello hiro@els,

Yes, you can leave those pins in the default setting. The LRCLK and BCLK pins will not have any signals on them as long as the serial port default setting of “slave” is not changed. Should any EMI radiation be an issue then the ADC Data pin can be disabled by disabling the serial port clocks. However, I do not think this pin being left open will be a problem.

The JACKDET/MICIN pin can be left in the default state with no issues. I suppose the DAC_SDATA, BCLK, and LRCLK pins could be grounded. It is always a good idea to ground unused digital input pins. The ADC_SDATA I would leave floating.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Dave T
