1701 LOOKUP TABLE PROBLEM
Hi to everybody,
I have a different problem with a Lookup Table.
I don't understand because this cyclical simple regulation of volume with the LInkCompile works well, the output on the dac2 is positioned to the maximum value.
Moving the program to the EEprom the output on the dac2 is positioned around second value.
It doesn't also change anything interposing among the GPI and Tcount, ZeroComparator or BufferGate, with resident program on EEprom the dac2
is always positioned around second value.
This happens with 1701 and EVAL-ADAU1701MINIZ
Thanks

Thanks Bob,
you are always kind and above all experienced.
Now I have also understood other problems of my LookupTables
A good weekend.
Thanks

Hello piero,
You can work around this problem by replacing your Rising Edge Toggle Counter with a Falling Edge Toggle Counter, and also un-checking the Invert box for GPIO_9 so the button S6 works as before. The problem you're experiencing appears to have several causes, explained below:
The Toggle Counter gets its initial state from the Interface Read. For some reason, its Rising Edge version adds 1 to this read, or else counts one toggle just from powering up. Either way, the count starts at 1, even though the initial state read as zero. This is why your lookup table is stuck on its second entry. In contrast, the Falling Edge version of Tcount works correctly.
Also, the Interface Read value is not necessarily zero, but is supposed to be the count that was saved in EEPROM when the circuit was last powered down. This function doesn't work in the -1701MINZ -- for more info, please see https://ez.analog.com/message/23440#23440
I attached your project circuit with these three changes:
Substituting the Falling-Edge Tcount for the Rising-Edge version
Not inverting GPIO_9 to drive the Falling-Edge Tcount
Instruction Length set to 2X (512 instructions) to match your project's 96K sample rate
Best regards,
Bob
