HILBERT TRANSFORM on 1701
Good morning to everybody
I use the version 10 BETA of Sigma Studio,
in the attached figures the result is seen.
Doesn't something work it is a bug of the releases?
Other problem, writing this simple project on the eeprom
of the evalboard doesn't work.
It is not even it foresees the signal on the DAC3
She could help this information, effecting the Link Compliler with the oscillator 32.768 hZ OFF and positioning it in ON
after the compilation on the DAC3 the signal appears immediately.
Effecting the Link Compiler with the oscillator 32.768 hZ ON, to see the signal on the DAC3 it is necessary to set
the oscillator in position OFF and immediately after new in position ON, then the signal is seen on the DAC3
It doesn't influence instead the set ON OFF of the oscillator to 1200 hZ
I have planned a more complex project and they change now unfortunately the dependent situations of operation the setup of the oscillators.
I capture the images and I publish the result.
Thanks
Sanfilippo

This is the second experiment
Premised that also this second project writing on the eeprom of the evalboard around 2 DACs is not visible any signal, I attach the project because someone can make a test.
They happen some strange and sequential things with the positioning ON OFF of the 2 oscillators to be able to see the rye on the DACs.
Compiling the project around 2 DACs is not visible any signal, to see it needs it to disable and then to rehabilitate one of the 2 oscillators, still compiling the project if previously I had disabled for example the oscillator 32.768 hZ, the following time I have to intervene on the ON OFF of the oscillator 1200 hZ and so then ahead in sequential way to every compilation.
Thanks
Hello Sanfilippo,
Possibly this Hilbert transform implementation is only for a 48KHz sample rate, so I tried it and could not get it to work that way either. In the simple circuit below,
the top pin is dead, and the bottom one gives a strange looking and sounding output:
With a sine wave input I'd expect a delayed sine wave at the Real pin and a delayed, 90-degree shifted sine wave at the Imaginary pin. So unfortunately, I don't understand what's going here. For now, it looks like you'll need to continue using a FIR filter implementation as you have done previously.
Best regards,
Bob
Thanks Bob,
I will be had to continue to use the FIR, I simply wanted to recover instructions because with sample rate 96000 are available only 512.
I have installed the old version 3.8 in attended that the 10 is improved
I hope that soon Mr.Wilfrido communicates good news.

Hi Wilfrido,
Thanks for the information, I would like to signal that in the version 10 beta all the algorithms Vco reset Phase have problems.
This also happens replacing ADICtrls.dll
P.Sanfilippo
Hi,
I'm letting you know that the Hilbert Transform algorithm has been fixed for the 1701. The fix will be available for the next SigmaStudio 3.10.2 Beta release, around the first or second week of November.
Wilfrido.
All right.
I will take note on those too.
Thanks again.
Wilfrido.
