two USBi boards, 2 targets, one SigmaStudio
I have a need to connect two ADAU1701 target boards together. The boards are already made and work.
The problem is, both address lines on both boards are soldered to ground and can't easily be changed.
Can I get a second USBi board, and run 2 USB wires to a single computer and either run 2 copies of Sigma Studios (maybe in virtual machines,) or a single copy of Sigma Studio and handle the 2 USBi independently?
Any ideas?
Thanks, Mark.

Hi brett,
I have need to send a private and urgent email, but trying to send her the answer is always full box.
How can I do?
Thanks
Can you power the boards independently, so that the USBi could be removed from either board without having the board power down? If so, the simple solution would be to power up both boards, and program the individual SigmaDSPs independently.
I guess the steps would be as follows:
1. Power up both boards
2. Plug USBi into board A
3. Load project A in SigmaStudio
4. Link-compile-download
5. Disconnect USBi from board A and plug it into board B
6. Load project A in SigmaStudio
7. Link-compile-download
Of course, Brett, that is what I am doing. Also, both boards have eeproms and can be burned.
I was hoping to avoid the steps of disconnecting the debug connectors so many times.
Thanks.
Understood. Well, I'm not sure if the separate copies of SigmaStudio will be able to differentiate between the two USBis. I've never tried that, but I imagine that the driver doesn't have the support built-in for multiple devices to be used simultaneously.
