Hello,

I'm trying to set different selectable durations for the "Timer w/ External Reset" (ADAU1701, Sigmastudio 3.1).

I'm using 3 DC Input Entries and a Mono Index Selectable Switch.

What happens when timer is enabled and the duration value changes?

Is the count reset to 0 and restart? Is the new value ignored?

Hi tommi,

Sorry for the late response. I was out of the office frequently over the past several weeks.

The algorithm checks each frame and does a comparison between the current count and the max count. It outputs a high flag when the current count exceeds the max count. You can change the max count number at any time and the flag will update on the next frame accordingly. The counter will not stop until you reset it.
