Description:

It appears that with the latest Sigma Studio release (3.5), the flanger settings are not saved correctly.

This happens when the max delay is changed to something smaller than default value 500.

The problem can be demonstrated using these simple steps:

create a project and add a flanger effect.

change the delay from 10 to 1

change the max delay from 500 to 300

save the file

close the file.

when re-opening the file, the max delay field is now empty, and the delay field is 0. which results in the following error when I try to compile: "Index was out of range. Must be blahblah"

Please note that until closing/reopening the file, I can compile and the flanger effect works on my hardware.

SigmaStudio Version: 3.5

OS: Windows Vista Enterprise

Hi,

I am still having that problem with flanger settings not being saved. This issue was raised 3 months ago now. Any idea of a possible solution?

PS: I am using SigmaStudio 3.6.2 on windows XP.

This bug is in the issue tracker, but has not yet been addressed. I will remind the software team.

Is there any progress on solving this issue? I see that 3.7.3 beta is out, but there is no mention of this bug being solved.

Can we expect this bug to be solved in a timely manner?

Hi ggiles.

Here's the response from a member of the software team:

Yes,

I was working on that bug, but I had to pull it off my TODO list for a bit.

It is not trivial and has to be handled with care so it does not break backwards compatibility.

I will keep track on that.

So, it looks like the team is aware of the issue, but it's complicated to solve in a way that it doesn't break old projects. We'll keep you posted.
