Greetings. Being new to SigmaStudio I apologize if this is a silly question. The Studio Help says I should find a "Schematic Terminal" under the System library of the toolbox. I have attached a screenshot that shows that it is quite notably absent there. What did I miss? (I need it to trap unused output pins in algo blocks.)

Hi Dr.Ram,

Thanks for notifying me of this. The Schematic Terminal was originally created as a way to terminate signals from output pins that did not go on to connect to other cells. This was necessary because our compiler could not handle cases where output pins were not connected. At some point, we updated the compiler to "auto-terminate" output signals that were not used, so the Schematic Terminal became obsolete. Unused output pins can simply be left "floating", and the compiler will intelligently handle them on its own.

Even though the schematic terminal was removed from the library, it still exists in the help file, for legacy purposes. You can also load old projects containing schematic terminals with no errors or issues, because we have made the software backwards-compatible.
