I am designing a project that will use 4 ADAU1761 . I can write to Parameter ram

using my VB application via USB to I2C (cypress chip modified by DELCOM). they have supply a DLL that i can use in VB.

I am having trouble readin from i2c , but can write to the registers OK. I am still loading the program to the eval board using sigma studio and the supplied USB board. IS there a document that describes the boot loading method, adressing, which files etc. So that I can write my routines to load my programs at startup? Thanks

Hi Paul,

Here is an FAQ that describes how to generate the address and data information for your program similar to a sigma studio download.

https://ez.analog.com/docs/DOC-1946

Also if you want to generate microcontroller code, here is another FAQ

https://ez.analog.com/docs/DOC-1806

Hopefully this helps.

Best Rgds,

Alan

Hi Paaul

Using TxBuffer_IC_1.dat for bootloading from a VB app (ADAU1761)

Your indications are very interesting, you could send the electric scheme of the application that you have realized, in practice the connections among the flash the used processor and ADAU1761.

My address email is sanfilippo@oceanproget.com

Thanks Piero
