I'm connecting an iMX28 processor to an ADAU1761, using the Linux driver from Analog Devices.

The ARM CPU is outputting the BCLK and LRCLK signal, and I set the CPU as master and the codec as slave.

The DSP configuration is set up with the first two inputs directly routed to DIG0 and DIG1 respectively.

I can play audio fine on the HP output, but I can't get the ADC_SDATA signal to move at all, it just stays low.

How can I debug it? I moved the mixers and set the capture to on, but with no luck.

TIA

Can you please attach screenshots of your register setup for the Digital Setup and DSP Registers tabs?

Ok I seem to have solved it.

Wrt to your request, I could attach the screenshots, but I'm afraid it would be of very little use: I am currently developing using the Linux driver, and my final system won't be using SigmaStudio to drive the ADAU (I suspect this will be the same for the greatest majority of ADAU users).

So yes: I have the system working with SigmaStudio, but this doesn't mean I can use the ADAU in my project, if I can't do it with the Linux driver. Luckily I found the probable issue and now it works again.
